I was thinking of buying a suit for my brother's birthday but I don’t know much about mens suits! So I was doing some research into suits online, when I came across a list of the most expensive ones that you can buy off the peg. I must confess I wasn't thinking of spending this much! But it has peaked my interest that some people do spend this much on one suit! And I thought I'd share it with you.
In reverse order:
5. Ralph Lauren - $ 3,295
4. Giorgio Armani - $3,595
3. Botteya Veneta - $4,200
2. Kiton - $5,800
1. Brioni - $6,000
I mean these aren't even custom made, they are off the peg! I imagine the most expensive custom made suits cost tens of thousands. And people who work at say, Rowan Dartington who need to wear an expensive suit to work every day probably own several of these, and I would have to save for months just to buy one! Sorry brother, I think maybe I'll just get you a DVD.
